Year 2020 marks the 200 years anniversary of the discovery of electromagnetism - a science that lies at the very heart of all electro-technology and thus forms the backbone of our modern society at large. Electromagnetism was discovered in Copenhagen in 1820 by the Danish scientist H.C. Ørsted. The bicentennial of electromagnetism will be marked at the EuCap 2020 through an exhibition of a number of different Ørsted artefacts. These include, among others, a copy of his trough apparatus which he used to discover electromagnetism and his original paper on Latin from 1820. A limited number of an anniversary edition of KVANT, Danish Journal for Physics and Astronomy, dedicated solely to the work, life and legacy of H.C. Ørsted will be published and distributed at a first-come, first-served principle.

The flagship product of the WIPL-D software suite is a general purpose full-wave 3D electromagnetic solver.
